Set up
Setting up the BeThere system will usually take the operator less than 30 minutes. All they need is a power supply, a small table and if you have a PA system a sound feed (XLR). If you don’t have a PA system that’s fine too as the BeThere system comes equipped with a microphone. The BeThere operator will set up the camera(s) in the optimum position and connect the BeThere laptop to the presentation computer via a VGA splitter box, connect the sound feed, turn on, load up a background template and BeThere is ready to go! It really is as simple as that. If you are already planning on having cameras there anyway, no problem, we simply take a feed from them.
High quality recording
BeThere captures and encodes straight to Flash Video, which is the best quality streaming video format. (Flash is installed on 99% of all computers – PC and Mac – that access the internet). This means it is ready to stream live or be uploaded after the event finishes for viewing on demand. Another option is to copy the completed video to CD, DVD or memory sticks.
The BeThere operator has total control of the quality they record at so that parameters can be set at the start, depending on your audiences viewing requirements and your IT infrastructure. This enable us to ensure an end result that will stream smoothly and with the best quality image. BeThere recordings can even be delivered to mobile phones further enhancing the convenience for your viewers.
Publishing
You can then decide whether you want to sell your content (pay to view online or by selling DVDs etc.) or make it freely available. BeThere provides a full hosting service so you don’t even need to worry about that. We will send you a link to the video and also a line or two of HTML code to enable you to embed your content in web pages or blogs.
